Open Server - is a special web server, designed to web-development, to test web-projects. It includes a set of such applications:

• Apache - is a robust and flexible open source server;
• PHP - is a popular programming language for use in web development;
• PHPMyAdmin - is a special tool built in PHP;
• Nginx - is another flexible server;
• MySQL - a system whose purpose is to manage databases;
• and others.

     In order to get started with the server, you need to install it to get started. It is necessary to download from the official site, respectively, by entering the code from the picture, and by choosing the distribution.

   The Ultimate version is complete. It consists of Apache PHP MySQL Nginx and a software environment with useful software. Premium - Includes only the server part. Basic - the basic version, which does not have a package of additional programs, modules PhpPgAdmin, Git and others.

   After downloading, you need to open the installed file and extract it to disk C, however, more securely store your sites on disk D. Then, by going to this disk, select the folder Open Server and, depending on the size of the Windows system (64 or 86 bit), run the program (on behalf of the administrator).

   If everything is done correctly, after installing in the messages (in other words, the tray) of your computer, a red check box for the Open Server control panel will appear. Then left-click on the checkbox and choose to «run». 

After this, the checkbox will change its color to green.

Then restart the server and check the presence of the new site by going to the menu on My Sites.
