In this article I want to tell in more detail about the features of work of the project manager in the field of IT-programming. In the labor market of Ukraine this profession appeared recently and because not everyone can immediately understand what its characteristics and objectives.

   Project Manager - a specialist whose main task is to work on the project as a whole.

   So the main responsibilities of the project manager are:

• project of team formation  ;
• distribution of tasks and goals between employees;
• distribution of working time;
• negotiating with clients;
• control of quality assignments;
• conduct of the necessary documentation;
• delivery of executed solutions to the customer.

   Like any profession, the work of the project manager has its pros and cons of  work. Therefore, we consider them in more detail.

   Pros are:

• demand in the labor market of Ukraine;
• new circle of acquaintances;
• opportunity to demonstrate their positive qualities, skills and abilities;
• high level of payment;
• acquirement of new and useful knowledge.

   At first glance it seems that the work is easy, but actually it requires great effort.

   So the main drawbacks are the following:

• clarity and accuracy of the description of the tasks according to customer requirements;
• time limit tasks;
• irregular working schedule;
• great responsibility.

   To be a good manager, must not only have knowledge of programming, but also have a number of different qualities, ie:

• ambition;
• communication;
• creativity;
• responsibility;
• patience;
• hard work;
• the desire to improve.

   Each Project Manager, finding the customer should negotiate asking various questions, such as:

• What is the main purpose and benefits of the project?
• With what risks can face when late implementation of the project?
• Who will decide to move to another stage of the project?
• Which people will directly involved in the project?
• Who will allocate resources towards the implementation of the project?
• Who should lead  documentation?

   We can see only a very basic question, but further work each of you will face with many others, depending on the situation and the complexity of the project.

   Project Manager integrates and forms a team, a good analyst and psychologist. The end result of works depends on him . So skillful using of their skills, self-improvement, unity of command will must bring your company to success and profit.
